The Shaping of Things to Come: Chapter Four
August 9th, 2006 literary, spiritual

What is attractive about a house where Christians meet? Who wants to be there? What is its function in the greater community? Why would anyone care about it or want to go inside? What about a space might prompt people to look beyond the physical to the transcendent? How does ambient evangelism take place? How does a building not become a bubble? How can walls bring people together rather than keep them apart? How does a venue move beyond being a place where occasional events happen to a place where continuous community happens?
