Candidate Christmas Commercials
December 20th, 2007 axiomatic, cultural, political
Heartwarming, hilarious, serious, and terrifying, the 2008 presidential candidates have produced a interesting assortment of TV commercials with Christmas tree backdrops in preparation for the primaries in just two weeks!
Biden
Clinton
Edwards
Giuliani
Huckabee
McCain
Obama
Paul
Romney
Voting starts in Iowa (Jan 3), New Hampshire (Jan 8), Michigan (Jan 15), South Carolina and Nevada (Jan 19), Florida (Jan 29), two dozen states (Feb 5, aka Super Tuesday), Virginia (Feb 12), and all the rest. Be sure to register today so you can have your say. In Virginia you can vote in both Democratic and Republican primaries if you like. Why not? It’s usually only the hardline base members of the party who vote in primaries so new people getting involved can make a big impact.
As Ron Paul commented at the end of his interview with Glenn Beck this week, “The base of the Republican and Democratic parties is pretty small compared to the number of American people who are disgruntled [and will be voting for me in the primaries.]“
